For founder Papi Ndombele, entrepreneurial thinking was part of his life from an early age. Growing up in a family where self-employment and personal responsibility were taken for granted, he developed the wish to one day build a company of his own.
His path into international commodity trading came through personal connections to the trading world in Africa. What first sparked his curiosity became a deliberate entrepreneurial direction, strengthened by exchanges with experienced market participants.
One thing became particularly clear along the way: there is often a considerable difference between an interesting trading opportunity and a transaction that can actually be executed.
