Privacy Policy

This privacy policy informs you about the nature, scope and purpose of the processing of personal data on this website in accordance with Art. 13 GDPR. The German version of this policy is the legally binding version.

1. Controller

The controller responsible for data processing on this website is the entity named in the Legal Notice.

2. Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. The host automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits automatically (e.g. browser type, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request, IP address). This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable provision of the website).

3. Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, the information you provide, including the contact details you enter, will be processed for the purpose of handling your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR (pre-contractual inquiry) or Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to inquiries).

The form is processed exclusively on our own web server at IONOS in Germany. No third-party form service is used and no data is transferred to a third country. The inquiry is forwarded to our own company mailbox.

Protecting the contact form against misuse

To protect against spam and automated requests, we check enquiries exclusively on our own web server at IONOS in Germany. We do not use cookies or third-party services for this purpose.

Before sending, your browser solves a small computational task. This calculation takes place in your browser; no additional personal data is transmitted.

To limit the number of requests, we use a secret key to derive a pseudonymous check value from your IP address, which changes daily. We do not store the IP address itself. The check value is deleted after 24 hours. To detect identical messages sent repeatedly, we store a check value of the message text, not the text itself, for 24 hours. We also use a DNS query to check whether the domain of your email address exists.

Enquiries that are automatically classified as spam are not forwarded. We store them on our server for manual review for 14 days and then delete them automatically. For technical operation, we log the date, time, reference number and check result of an enquiry, but no IP address, name or email address. These logs are deleted after 30 days. Once the stated periods have expired, an automatic clean-up on our server deletes the data. It runs once a day and additionally whenever the contact form is used, so deletion may take place up to one day after the respective period has expired.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in protecting our systems and communication against misuse and spam.

4. No external services

This website does not embed any external fonts, images or scripts. All fonts and images are hosted on our own server. No connection to third-party providers is established when you visit this site.

5. Cookies & tracking

This website does not use any analytics or marketing cookies. To store your language selection (English/German), only a technically necessary entry is stored in your browser's local storage; it contains no personal data and is not transmitted to us.
